Indeed, the major comes down to the control panel: the Panasonic NN-T945SF used to have only touch controls, while the Panasonic NN-SD967S has a dial for time control in addition to touch buttons. The standard Sharp R-520KS offers a large 2-cubic-foot capacity with a stylish stainless-steel design, and might interest those of you who don’t want to spend extra for a converter microwave oven, or are wary of the reliability problems. This microwave offers an electronic touchpad display, a 16-inch turntable, and 1,200-watt cooking power. Cooking features include a warming mode that keeps food warm until serving time, a cooking sensor, four defrost options, and auto-defrost. It takes up the same amount of counter space with its 24″ wide and 20″ deep, even though it has a slightly smaller capacity than the GE and Panasonic microwaves. It also come with 4 years of coverage for its magnetron tube, in addition to one-year parts and labor warranty.
Most of the users’ reviews for Sharp R-520KS are by and large positive, however, it gets lower marks in one independent test because of its noise.
